• Product information

  Heide Refoxed wraps little feet in a rosewood-colored canvas outer fabric made from 100% recycled cotton. Thanks to its particularly dense weave, the fabric has a water-repellent effect. The integrated membrane helps to keep water out.

  For Heide Refoxed, as for all Refoxed models, unused materials from previous models are used - a further step towards regenerative management.

  Upper:
  Canvas (100% certified organic cotton) – rosewood

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Interior lining:
  100% certified organically grown cotton

  Insole:
  Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax)

  Edging:
  Microfiber (90% polyamide, 10% polyurethane)

  Outsole:
  60% synthetic rubber containing approx. 33% recycled material, 25% silica, 15% recycled cork

  True to size as measured with the Fitkit.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box.

  Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together and carefully brushing them out when they’re dry, or by gently wiping them down with a damp cloth. Not machine washable. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend periodic follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product.

  Allow shoes to dry thoroughly after waterproofing. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.

  When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
