The Wildling Borbo is as delicate and fine as a mild spring day. The Low Cut for both adults and children immediately catches the eye with its unusual print: stylized butterfly wings in light shades of red, orange and peach make Borbo a real eye-catcher. And it fulfills the Wildling community's long-held wish for a butterfly motif. Pssst: If you look very closely, you might even spot elements of the finely curved Wildling logo in the pattern?

But it's not just the print that is inspired by nature – sustainable natural materials are also used in Borbo. Its outer material consists of a robust mix of hemp and cotton from controlled organic cultivation. The latter is also used in the inner fabric.

With the Pure Sole, Borbo combines the best of both worlds: On the one hand, the closed sole gap offers us protection when spring surprises us with a shower. On the other hand, the sole gives us that special Wildling feel – light and free, (almost) like a butterfly.

  • New Inspiration From Old Friends

    Models made from leftover materials

The widest imaginable range of materials is used to make Wildlings, and even with careful, sustainable planning, leftover bits and pieces remain. This opens up the opportunity to repurpose these materials into unique new shoe models, making the familiar special all over again.

  • In Balance With Nature

    Less-Is-More for Healthy Children’s Feet

It’s in our nature to go barefoot most of the time, as discovered by Professor Zech of the University of Jena and confirmed by numerous studies. Children intuitively understand what our feet are made for – no wonder they often prefer to take off their shoes. Barefoot or in minimal shoes, their feet stay flexible, strong and sensitive.
