  Who's that fluttering by? Blackbird is back - this time with a new sole: the Pure Sole. 

  The upper material of Amsel (Blackbird) Resouled is made from fabrics that have been lying dormant in storage from previous models and have now been given a new lease on life: The 100% recycled cotton is processed in a particularly tight weave, which makes the low cut an extremely robust companion - even on cool and damp days.

  The inner lining as well as sewn-in inner soles are made of wool from Wildling's cooperation partner Nordwolle with an additional water-repellent membrane. The wool is kept thin so that the shoe remains pleasantly slim and has temperature and moisture-regulating properties. However, the model can easily be supplemented with insoles such as Wooly or Felty to keep even more warmth in the shoe.

  The Amsel (Blackbird) Resouled has kept in line with its animal inspiration regarding color: from the upper to the laces to the sole, the shoe is completely black with the exception of two petrol eyelets that add a small, playful accent.

  Canvas (100% certified organic cotton) – black

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Lining / mid-sole:
  Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool)

  Edging:
  Microfiber (100% polyamide) – black

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – black

• Fit

  Choose your normal size for a comfortable fit.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer).

  Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.

  Allow shoes to dry thoroughly after waterproofing. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.
