• Product information

  For those who also insist on Wildling Shoes in wet and windy weather, the Tejo model is just the ticket. Its extra-densely woven recycled cotton upper material and integrated membrane keep our feet dry for the long-term.

  Wooly warmth is guaranteed by the loden lining with virgin wool from our partner company, Nordwolle. The shoestring eyelets make tying the shoes especially easy, and the cotton tongue and heel come in a distinct eye-catching color.

  Upper:
  Canvas (100% recycled cotton) – blue

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Lining / insole:
  Felted wool loden (100% pure new wool) [Nordwolle]

  Edging:
  Microfiber (100% polyamide) – blue

  Outsole:
  60% synthetic rubber containing approx. 33% recycled material, 25% silica, 15% recycled cork – dark blue

• Fit

  True to size as measured with the Fitkit.

  For narrow feet, we recommend an insole.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer). Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised.

  Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend periodic follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.

  When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
