The name says it all: the upper material of this low-cut shoe for adults is made from 100 per cent risaik... er... recycled cotton. Woven particularly tightly, it makes the shoe extremely robust. Inside, a lining made from Nordwolle wool keeps our feet cosy and warm.Robust and flexible for everyday adventures
The upper material and flat laces are in a deep blueberry shade, which combines perfectly with the dark brown Pure Sole. This sole is water-repellent and also ensures a wonderfully flexible feel. This makes Risaik a versatile companion for everyday adventures. -

From wool that nobody wanted
When Anna Yona heard about Nordwolle, it was clear: this was the meeting of two ideas that were heading in the same direction. Marco Scheel has built up a completely regional wool value chain in northern Germany – from shearing to the finished yarn. Wool that was once considered too rough is now used to make a warm, durable material – and marks the beginning of a long-lasting partnership. -
The man behind Nordwolle
Marco uses what others would throw away: The strong wool of robust sheep breeds like the Pomeranian Landschaf. These animals care for cultural landscapes through biosphere grazing, promote biodiversity – and provide a fibre with character. Once rejected as scratchy, today it is a statement against plastic and anonymous supply chains. -
Genuine and natural
Undyed, unbleached – just washed, combed and spun. Nordwolle retains its natural resilience, warmth and original feel. Processed in traditional companies, it stands for genuine regionality and honest functionality. -
How wool becomes a Wildling
The wool is spun, woven and processed in Portugal. This creates a natural material with functional properties. In collaboration with Nordwolle, it is turned into a Wildling – from the fibre to the finished shoe.
