Warm and comfortable
Pine W 9 | M 8
The pine are warm for cooler days but not too warm where they are hot on warmer days. They fit well and as always the sole allows you to feel the ground.
Size recommendation:
Buy one size smaller.

Stylish, Comfortable and Affordable!
Pine W 11.5 | M 10.5
I wanted an alternative to heavy boots during the cooler months. These Wilding PINE shoes are the perfect fit. The inside flannel is so soft, they fit beautifully just like my other Wilding shoes! Fall has just begun, and I can't wait to start wearing these everyday!
Size recommendation:
Choose the normal size.

Wonderful shoes
Pine W 7 | M 6
Earlier this year I purchased a pair of Wildling Pine shoes. There are several reasons why people wear barefoot shoes, but the only one that matters to me is the ability to feel the ground while walking. Even after some months, I am astounded by how much more fun it is to walk in these shoes vs. shoes with a thicker sole. It’s like developing a new sense.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to wear my Pine shoes all year because I live in an area that has chilly, very rainy winters, but it has worked out pretty well. In case it is helpful to others, here is how I have coped with the specific winter conditions:
Rain: Every few weeks, I give my shoes a good cleaning and re-waterproof them. This means my feet stay mostly dry except in the heaviest rains. (I also have to avoid deep puddles.) They are not as waterproof as rubber boots, of course, but are comparable to a well-conditioned pair of leather boots.
Cold: I can comfortably fit wool socks and the Wooly insoles inside my shoes. This keeps me warm to about 30°F (-1°C). If it was any colder, I would need larger shoes so I could fit heavier insoles.
Ice: The traction on my Pine shoes is pretty good even on icy terrain, made better by the way that feet contour to the ground when wearing such flexible shoes.
Size recommendation:
Choose the normal size.

Thank you for sharing your detailed experiences with Pine, Kate. It's wonderful to hear that they truly make your feet happy and accompany you in such a variety of weathers and sorroundings!
