  On a walk, at work, at kindergarten: Nessie Refoxed is a constant companion. The dark-blue Wildling with the beautiful herringbone pattern is available in children's and adult sizes.

  Nessie Refoxed is the update to the popular Nessie model. Compared to its predecessor, it has a few changes though: The mid cut is now equipped with the Pure Sole and comes without the former knitted collar.

  Its outer material and lining are made of 100% wool from Wildling's cooperation partner Nordwolle - paired with a membrane, Nessie Refoxed is both breathable and water-repellent. The Refoxed model breathes new life into leftover materials that have been lying dormant in the Wildling warehouse since the Nessie. The lining as well as the sewn-in inner soles completely clad the foot in wool, which keeps them warm while regulating the climate. To keep even more warmth inside the shoe, Nessie Refoxed can easily be supplemented with insoles such as Wooly or Felty.

  Upper:
  Herringbone (100% virgin wool from certified organic animal husbandry) – black-blue

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Lining / mid-sole:
  Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool)

  Edging:
  Microfiber (100% polyamide) – dark blue-gray

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – dark brown

  Choose your normal size for a comfortable fit.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer).

  Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.

  Allow shoes to dry thoroughly after waterproofing. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.

  When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
