Haldy onyx

• Product information

  Whether on an autumn walk, in the office or at a concert: black always works - that much has been clear since Serra. In response to popular demand from the community, Haldy is now available in a new high cut that comes in all black.

  But it's not just its color that makes the adult model a wonderful companion for autumn and winter days: the upper material is made from 100% recycled cotton, which has an exceptionally tight weave. Complemented by a water-repellent membrane and all-round shell sole, Haldy is a reliable companion - even when the sky gets dark.

  Compared to its predecessor Serra, Haldy comes with a wool lining as well as sewn-in inner soles from Wildling's cooperation partner Nordwolle. The model completely encases the feet in wool fabrics that keep them warm while regulating the climate. To keep even more warmth inside the shoe, Haldy can easily be supplemented with insoles such as Wooly or Felty.

  Incidentally, Haldy is named after the Haldy Tower - a popular sight in Wildling's home town of Engelskirchen.

  Upper:
  Twill (100% recycled cotton) – black

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Lining / mid-sole:
  Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool) [Nordwolle]

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – black

• Fit

  Choose your normal size for a comfortable fit.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.

  Allow shoes to dry thoroughly after waterproofing. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.
