Special surface
The low cut’s upper is made from undyed brown virgin wool sourced from Nordwolle’s landscape conservation projects, along with Romanian hemp from Virgocoop in navy blue – a combination that creates a rich, vibrant sheen and gives the wool a smoother, more polished look.
The inner qualities
The blend of wool and hemp quite naturally delivers its own temperature-regulating properties – keeping conditions comfortably pleasant for our feet. So long, sweaty feet!
Companions for the transitional seasons
In Emmer’s case, the felted wool loden lining by Nordwolle is slightly thinner than it is for other wooly Wildling Shoes models, making this low cut the perfect shoe for those months that fall somewhere in between scorching hot and freezing cold.

Care
Care
Waterproofing before first-time wear
There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer). Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised.
Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.
Cleaning
The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth.
Not machine washable.
Post-treatment
We recommend periodic follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product.
Additional notes
Additional notes
When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.
Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.
When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
