• Product information

  Wildling goes Chelsea boot: slip them on and start walking. Thanks to the elastic inserts on the sides, Bruklin chestnut doesn’t need any laces. The Wildling in adult sizes is a practical everyday shoe that is cut between a mid and high cut and can be paired in a variety of ways thanks to its brown-blue color scheme.

  With its Shell Sole and integrated water-repellent membrane, Bruklin chestnut keeps moisture out. The lining as well as the sewn-in inner soles are made from wool from Wildling's cooperation partner Nordwolle, it keeps warm while regulating the climate. For extra warmth in the shoe, insoles such as Wooly or Felty can be added. 

  The upper material of Bruklin chestnut is made from a combination of hemp from VirgoCoop

  (40%) and virgin wool from Nordwolle (60%). In addition to the climate-regulating properties of wool, the hemp fibers have dirt-repellent and tear-resistant properties - they are also particularly soft and comfortable to wear.

  Incidentally, Bruklin is inspired by the Ehrenfeld district of Cologne - the Brooklyn of Cologne, as rumor has it.

  Upper:
  Canvas (60% virgin wool, 40% hemp)  – brown-navy blue

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Lining / mid-sole:
  Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool) [Nordwolle]

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – dark brown

  True to size as measured with the Size Finder.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.

  Allow shoes to dry thoroughly after waterproofing. The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  The upper may rub off onto light-colored fabrics when wet.
