• Product information

  The dark blue upper material is made of 100% virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry. The Salt-& -Pepper look in blue with orange dots adds a special sassy touch to this model. The Nordwolle wool loden lining ensures that the Astron Refoxed model keeps little feet warm on cold days.

  The Refoxed model gives leftover materials stored at the Wildling Shoes warehouse since the first Astron model was introduced a new lease on life.

  Upper:
  Salt and pepper (100% virgin wool from certified organic animal husbandry) – dark blue-cinnamon

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Lining / insole:
  Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool) [Nordwolle]

  Edging:
  Microfiber (100% polyamide) – navy blue

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color – orange

• Fit

  Choose your normal size for a comfortable fit.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised. There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer).

  Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  Post-treatment

  We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.

  When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
