Pure wool
Felted wool feels soft and warm on one’s feet while also being ultra lightweight and breathable. The material used for Lotus consists of 90% German merino wool and a 10% blend of recycled, organically produced wool fibers. In total, Lotus is composed of just three main components that can later be separated by type – laying the groundwork for progress toward our ultimate goal: complete recycling.Handicraft made in Finland
This slipper achieves its shape thanks to a family-owned Finnish company. In a special process, moistened felt sheets are molded on a last and then left to dry so that their durable snuggliness can be preserved for the long term. What a stroke of luck for everyone who loves Wildling shoes, since today, there are only a handful of companies in Europe that have mastered this kind of felting handicraft.Sole debut
The Lotus is the first to feature a brand-new sole. It has been pared down to the essentials even more, paying tribute to the minimalist aspirations of all Wildling shoes. -

Where craftsmanship and hygge come together
The search for an almost forgotten craft and the desire to jointly keep the economy alive led to a farm on the edge of a forest in Finland. In an old wooden house there, a family business has been felting wool for generations – without any glue or synthetics, just with warmth, patience and a scent like freshly baked bread. -

Warms, breathes, keeps warm
With a blend of dark Spanish wool. Even the cut-out pieces find their way back into the material. The result is a fabric that is both soft and sturdy, breathable and warm. -
Three parts, one idea
Lotus and Nelus consist of only three main components – wool felt, yarn, sole – which are removable and recyclable. Slinka, made of undyed wool, is light and breathable, perfect for indoors and short trips outside. Warmth to slip into, designed with tomorrow in mind.
