Water-repellent? And how!
For those who don’t want to venture outdoors without Wildling shoes, even in truly foul weather, Yew is the perfect choice: Thanks to its new membrane construction and water flap, Yew is the most water-repellent Wildling shoe, keeping feet extra dry for an extra long time.
Dense weave, warm lining
Even the fabric stops wetness in its tracks: The ultra-dense weave of Yew’s recycled cotton canvas and its lining made from felted wool loden join forces with the membrane construction to make an impenetrable team.
Designed for outdoor adventure
Ring eyelets make for extra easy entry, and this mid cut also features longer laces and two cotton loops at the tongue and heel – the new look brings Yew’s all-around ruggedness into its own.

Care
Care
Waterproofing before first-time wear
There is no need to apply waterproofing treatment to the entire shoe right out of the box – that has already been taken care of during production (and in this case, doubling up won’t make it last longer). Before first-time wear, we do recommend that you waterproof the edging again. This may cause the edging to darken slightly, so don’t be surprised.
Tip: Using a brush is the best way to apply the waterproofing product. If you choose to spray it on, be sure to cover the rest of the shoe. Repeat the waterproofing treatment as needed.
Cleaning
The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth.
Not machine washable.
Post-treatment
We recommend periodic follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product.
Additional notes
Additional notes
When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.
Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.
When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
