The inspiration for this minimal shoe was taken from the lakes of Kyrgyzstan.
The Product team at Wildling Shoes came up with something extra special for the Kul model, using a type of weave for the upper that was specially engineered: The so-called fantasy weave creates a particularly beautiful surface texture reminiscent of little diamonds.
Supporting sustainable projects
The materials of the sky blue upper used are sourced from certified organic cultivation. The linen is sourced within Europe and at 33%, the high proportion of linen also ensures a pleasant environment for your feet.
Without microfiber edging
Both the upper and the edging of this minimal shoe are made from a cotton-linen blend, allowing us to do away with microfiber for this model. The brilliant blue inspired its name, because Kul is Kyrgyz and means lake.
